EHI Global Environmental, Health, and Safety Policy

ENVIRON Holdings, Inc. (ENVIRON) recognizes health, safety, and environmental responsibilities as an integral part of its overall business management and is committed to achieving excellence in these responsibilities. Through the implementation of a health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management program that is consistent with international standards, ENVIRON will continuously strive to incorporate recognized best practices into its program, seek input from its practitioners for improvement, and annually evaluate the application and success of the program.

ENVIRON's management is committed to the following goals:

  • Anticipate, identify, assess, and manage HSE risks associated with our business to employees, contractors, and community.
  • Minimize the risk of personal injury at work, promote the health and well-being of all employees, and influence positively on the surrounding community.
  • Comply with statutory requirements and apply pertinent international HSE standards.
  • Communicate with and engage employees and affected parties to comply with ENVIRON's HSE policy and program.
  • Provide adequate training and planning resources to its employees.
  • Regularly monitor, audit, review, and report on the status, progress, and HSE performance outcomes toward the goal of continuous improvement.

In order to achieve these goals, all ENVIRON employees and business units shall adhere to the following minimum standards of practice:

  • All employees who are required to work in an environment in which they may encounter or be exposed to physical, chemical, biological, or radiological hazards, shall be provided adequate training in hazard identification, monitoring, mitigation, and protection prior to initiating such work activities.
  • All such employees shall be provided and are expected to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment to prevent exposure to the potential hazards.
  • Prior to initiating work at a site in which physical, chemical, biological, or radiological hazards may be encountered, there shall be adequate health and safety planning by a supervising professional and a site-specific health and safety plan for use by field personnel.
  • The supervising management of each business unit shall be responsible to regularly monitor, audit, and review compliance with this policy and to report on the status, progress, and HSE performance outcomes to the firm's Health and Safety Committee at least annually.
