More than 25 years of experience in the area of environmental health and toxic chemicals, with particular emphasis on water and air pollution, and hazardous waste issues. Recognized nationally as an expert consultant on the treatment and disposal of municipal solid waste and hazardous waste, and on air, soil, and groundwater contamination.

• Provided technical support and expert testimony to many litigants in cases involving alleged human exposure to toxic substances, private-party cost recovery, allocation of response costs, and insurance coverage.
• Performed site characterizations and risk assessments at several Superfund and RCRA sites.
• Developed remedial action plans for the cleanup of numerous waste disposal and industrial sites.
• Served as Co-director of the hazardous waste research program at Princeton University.
• Associate Director of the Toxic Chemicals Program for the Environmental Defense Fund.
