He has completed a wide range of environmental projects under various state and federal programs, including air quality and air permitting; ambient air monitoring; due diligence; solid waste, hazardous waste and pollution prevention consulting; environmental health and safety; and regulatory compliance.

Experience Highlights

  • Prepared and reviewed air permit applications and supporting analyses for numerous facilities in several states. Types of industries included: batch pharmaceutical facilities, chemical manufacturing, resource recovery facilities, food service industry, medical centers, paper printing, fabric dying and treatment, glass manufacturing and various manufacturing plants.
  • Prepared and assisted in preparing Title V air permit applications and documentation for Title V facilities in various states. In addition, submissions were prepared to qualify facilities for synthetic minor status relative to Title V thresholds for facilities in Alabama, Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
  • Conducted air permit audits at numerous facilities in multiple states.
  • Assisted in the preparation and submission of control technology feasibility analyses such as Best Available Control Technology (BACT) and State-of-the-Art (SOTA). These analyses were submitted in support of pre-construction and Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) air permit applications.
  • Prepared a facility-wide risk assessment of a bulk chemical processing facility. The project involved performing dispersion modeling for four dozen Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) and fifteen source groups.
  • Prepared dispersion modeling of secondary metals processing facilities for business planning purposes to address 2008 revision to the lead National Ambient Air Quality Standard. The project involved designing a post-processing methodology to calculate running three-month averages for five years of meteorological data.
  • Designed and constructed an ambient air sampling network at a commercial airport in New Jersey. Provided on-going technical support and maintenance for air monitoring equipment. Collected continuous ambient air quality data and performed data analysis on collected data.
  • Conducted Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and compliance audits of various properties and businesses.
