The Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation entered into force on 1 June 2007, with a phased programme of implementation over 11 years. Described as 'the most ambitious chemicals legislation in the world', REACH is having significant and potentially extensive implications for all businesses involved in the production, import and/or downstream use of chemicals in Europe.
ENVIRON has 25 years of experience assessing and managing the potential risks associated with the development, production, use, and disposal of industrial chemicals, including pre-market notification. Practising from a global network of offices in Europe, the Americas, Australia, and Asia, our staff includes experts in toxicology and exposure assessment already versed in the existing European regulatory and technical framework for the risk assessment of chemicals. We are ideally positioned to help producers, formulators, and manufacturers identify and manage both REACH compliance obligations and wider business risks and opportunities that arise in the process.
If you have any questions regarding REACH or would like to discuss our REACH services further, please contact us.
